Welcome to Green Net Zero

Pioneering Your Path to a Low-Carbon Future

Green Net Zero Will Support You in Decarbonising Your Facilities

Our purpose is to help businesses reduce the energy and carbon consumption in their buildings and facilities by promoting and adopting low-carbon behaviours and technologies, propelling us towards a sustainable future.

In 2019 the UK became the first major economy in the world to commit to a net zero emissions target by 2050. Buildings are currently responsible for nearly 25% of the nation’s total greenhouse gas emissions. Over the last two decades, these emissions have been reduced by 30% which is mainly due to the decarbonisation of the grid, rather than an improvement in the energy efficiency of buildings.

Newly constructed buildings are more energy efficient, but 80% of buildings that will stand in 2050 have already been built, so a major priority is now to decarbonise our existing stock.

While ambitious carbon reduction targets are being set to drive our buildings towards a net zero carbon future, more needs to be done.

Ultimately, we believe that our products and services can help drive businesses towards our shared goal of limiting global warming to 1.5oC.

Green Net Zero Ltd

Let your Net-Zero Journey Begin

The net-zero journey can be daunting but that’s where Green Net Zero comes in. We have the experience and knowledge to help you demystify the process and answer questions such as:

  • How can we link the decarbonisation of our buildings into our carbon reduction roadmap?
  • What measures can be considered?
  • How much will they cost?
  • When is the best time to implement them?
  • What funding is available?
  • Who can supply quality equipment that will be installed in the most carbon-friendly way?
  • How can we ensure equipment is providing optimum carbon and energy savings?

Our team will take the time to understand what’s important to your business before assessing the current state of your estate. This will lead to practical decarbonisation and energy reduction solutions that work for your business and buildings.
We realise the key to success is collaboration and that’s why we have a selection of trusted partners with whom we work closely. This ensures the highest quality of service is provided along the way, in the most commercially conscious way.
We can help you to understand what levels of energy and carbon your building facilities are using and offer advice on interventions and equipment that would reduce these levels. We can offer guidance on funding options and even oversee the installation of our proposals.

Our Services

  • Journey to Decarbonisation Energy Audit

This is an energy audit which is aimed at demonstrating energy and carbon-saving areas within your buildings.

  • Net Zero Roadmap Development

This will be suitable for any business that has, or wants to, pledge to carbon reduction targets. We can show you how to reduce levels of carbon emissions from your facilities in order to reach these targets.

  • Stranded asset survey

A stranded asset is a building that is falling behind the increasingly stringent environmental requirements. Buildings must meet high standards of EPC rating and failure to do so will result in a less commercially appealing asset for landlords, investors and tenants. We aim to help landlords and developers understand the current EPC Rating of buildings in their portfolio, and the measures that can be implemented to improve the rating to the desired level to ensure assets don’t become obsolete.

  • Education Energy Survey

This is a survey we can provide for businesses within the education sector to support them to plan their decarbonisation journey, with the end destination being energy efficient, low carbon, positive environments for students and staff.

  • Other services

We also offer a range of additional services, including:

    • Display Energy Certificates (DEC)
    • Energy Performance Certificates (EPC), Air Conditioning (TM44)
    • Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS)
    • Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR)
    • Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)
